With over 30 years of experience in personal training and wellness coaching, Matt has guided clients from all walks of life toward measurable, lasting results. His approach blends proven training principles with a deep understanding of lifestyle habits, creating programs that inspire sustainable change. Matt’s leadership and commitment to excellence form the foundation of The Collar Method.

Our Trainers
Enrique Ramos
Enrique is a dedicated personal trainer who focuses on helping clients build strength, improve movement quality, and develop sustainable fitness habits. His training approach emphasizes proper technique, functional exercises, and consistency to support long-term results. He is also bilingual and ready to serve Spanish-speaking clients. Enrique is passionate about creating a supportive training environment where clients feel confident, capable, and motivated as they work toward their individual health and performance goals.

Preston Smith
Preston has been training clients for nearly eight years, specializing in strength and functional training. He is certified in Personal Training, Sports Science, and Nutrition—with ISSA credentials and CPR/AED certification. Preston believes in the power of mind-to-muscle connection and balanced nutrition, viewing himself as a catalyst who helps clients commit to a healthier lifestyle. His passion for fitness began in high school, and outside the gym he enjoys writing and recording music. His favorite workout is barbell curls, and he’s inspired by Alan Watts’ quote:
The only way to make sense out of change is to plunge into it, move with it, and join the dance.

Demetri Duncan
Demetri Duncan brings an energetic and client-focused approach to personal training, helping individuals improve strength, mobility, and overall fitness. He believes effective training should be both challenging and accessible, meeting clients where they are while pushing them toward meaningful progress. Demetri is committed to building strong foundations, encouraging accountability, and helping clients develop habits that support lasting results inside and outside the gym.
